Posters For The Planet:
For this project, I was tasked with designing a concept poster for Greenpeace that conveys the urgent need to take care of our planet. I decided to focus on persuading my viewers to use reusable bags instead of plastic. Within the poster I had to make sure to include Greenpeace logo, the Greenpeace website URL, and a compelling call to action statement.
It all started with a mood board…
To begin this project, I created a document that included photos, colors, typography, and possible call to action statements that would help influence my future poster.
Then it was time to create sketches…
Before I could start on my final poster, I drew rough sketches after receiving feedback from my peers on my mood board. I explored different viewpoints, subjects, and CTA statements in order to decide what route I wanted to take in my final version.
