GenZ Issue Poster:
For this project, I was tasked with designing a concept poster for Gen-Z for Change that raises awareness about a social, institutional, or political issue that is important to Gen-Z (ages 12-27). The issue I chose to focus on was gun violence, specifically school shootings. Within the poster I had to make sure to include the Gen-Z for Change logo and URL.
It all started with a mood board…
To begin this project, I created a document that included photos, colors, and typography that would help influence my future poster.
Then it was time to create sketches…
Before I could start on my final poster, I drew rough sketches after receiving feedback from my peers on my mood board. I explored different viewpoints, subjects, and backgrounds in order to decide what route I wanted to take in my final version.
