Butterbird Poster:
For this project, I was tasked with designing a concept poster for Travel Wisconsin that highlighted my favorite location in Wisconsin. The location I chose was Butterbird, a well known chicken restaurant, located in Madison, WI. Within the poster I had to make sure to include the name of the location, the Travel Wisconsin logo, and a link to Travel Wisconsin website.
It all started with a mood board…
To begin this project, I created a document that included photos, colors, and typogography that would help influence my future poster.
Then it was time to create sketches…
Before I could start on my final poster, I drew rough sketches after receiving feedback from my peers on my mood board. I explored different viewpoints, subjects, and backgrounds in order to decide what route I wanted to take in my final version.
